An Oakdale woman and a Valley Stream man each claimed $1 million lottery prizes this week, New York Lottery officials announced.

Jessica Dull of Oakdale got lucky with a second-prize winning Powerball ticket that she purchased in upstate Newburgh. The slip she purchased at Smokes 4 Less matched the first five numbers drawn on March 25.

The winning numbers in that drawing were 7, 11, 19, 53 snd 68; the Powerball number was 23. Dull received a one-time lump sum payment of $651,000, after required withholdings.

Valley Stream resident Salim Kahn claimed a $1 million second prize for matching the first five numbers in the March 26 Mega Millions drawing. Kahn, who received $651,000 after required withholdings, purchased his winning ticket at the Citgo gas station located at 320 Forest Ave. in Locust Valley.

The winning numbers in that evening’s Mega Millions drawing were 7, 11, 22, 29 and 38; the Mega Ball was 4.

Both big winners collected their prizes on Wednesday.
