Uber Eats delivery is now operating in Miller Place and Mount Sinai

|

Just a few months since its expansion into Stony Brook and Port Jefferson, Uber Eats is now servicing hungry Long Islanders in the Miller Place and Mount Sinai areas.

“Uber Eats gives Suffolk County eaters, restaurant partners, and delivery partners more options,” reads a statement the company.

Uber Eats, from the ride-hailing service Uber, has been getting positive reviews from participating restaurants like Local Burger Co. of Bay Shore.

“It is going great,” Local Burger co-owner Mike McElwee previously told GreaterPortJeff.

Some of the local restaurants participating include Mount Sinai’s Go Burger and Flying Pig Cafe of Miller Place.

Jennifer Cantin, marketing head for the Lessing’s Hospitality Group, which operates two dozen restaurants and catering halls on Long Island, said the company is “very happy with Uber Eats.”

“If we can’t have our customers dining in our stores every night, the next best thing is having them enjoy our food in the comfort of their own home,” she said.
