Ulta Beauty, the nation’s largest cosmetic supply chain, has included Long Island in its three-year expansion plans, with two new stores expected to open this year.
Those will be among some 200 Ulta locations planned for across the U.S. and possibly beyond by 2027.
An Oceanside Ulta Beauty is being planned for Long Beach Road within a former Rite Aid at Oceanside Plaza, Ulta reps have confirmed. That store is expected to open in the spring of 2025.
Then, in the “second half’ of 2025, a Selden store is planned to open within College Plaza, which is anchored by a ShopRite, on Middle Country Road.

Ulta, headquartered in Bolingbrook, Ill., separates itself from its competitors by stocking an array beauty tools, along with cosmetics, and their own hair care line. Nearly all Ulta stores also offer salon services, typically with a handful of chairs, within the retail space.
The brand does not currently operates stores outside of the U.S., though is reportedly eyeing Mexico.
Ulta already operates over a dozen locations on Long Island, from Valley Stream to Riverhead.
