Watch: Trailer drops for Jennifer Lawrence’s new film set in Montauk — ‘No Hard Feelings’

|

We just got our first look at “No Hard Feelings,” the new Jennifer Lawrence flick shot entirely on Long Island.

Sony released the official trailer for the comedy on Thursday, March 9 (see it below).

The film takes place in Montauk and stars Lawrence, who responds to a Craigslist ad to date a young man before he heads off to college. Directed and co-written by Gene Stupnitsky, the film also features a star-studded cast, including Matthew Broderick, Hasan Minhaj, Laura Benanti, and Kyle Mooney.

“No Hard Feelings” was shot across the island, from the Town of Hempstead to Point Lookout, and even Greenfield Cemetery in Uniondale made an appearance. Newsday reported that the film crew was preparing Ted’s Fishing Station in Point Lookout to be transformed into “Montauk Dock East.”

The trailer is full of laughs and heartwarming moments, with eagle-eyed Long Islanders able to spot familiar locations and even a Suffolk County Police vehicle. At just under three minutes long, the trailer gives us a taste of what we can expect from the full movie.

“No Hard Feelings” is slated for release on June 23, 2023, according to IMDB.
