Whiskey Down Diner has announced plans to expand to Babylon, revealing on New Year’s Eve that a second location is planned for 2026.

The popular Farmingdale diner shared the news on social media, calling the announcement a milestone moment as the year came to a close. In the post, ownership thanked customers for their continued support, noting that the Farmingdale location has been operating for six years.

“Ending the year on a high with some exciting news to share….

You asked, we listened. Whiskey Down Diner Babylon coming 2026. 🥃🥳🍾🥞🍔🍳🥂,” the post read, adding that the upcoming restaurant will be a larger second location while continuing to deliver what has made the Farmingdale diner successful.

The plans would still need to go through Babylon Village for approvals.

Located on Main Street in Farmingdale, Whiskey Down Diner has built a strong following for its menu that blends classic diner fare with gastropub-style cuisine. The restaurant is praised for its specialty burgers and elevated takes on traditional comfort food.

The announcement has been met with much fanfare.
