Setauket: 12 inches
Farmingville: 11.2 inches
Port Jefferson: 11 inches
Yaphank: 11 inches
Holtsville: 10 inches
Babylon: 9.9 inches
Patchogue: 9.6 inches
Eastport: 7.5 inches
Sound Beach: 4.2 inches
Original post: The National Weather Service in Upton has issued a winter storm warning that’s in effect from 3 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday.
NWS is predicting 5 to 8 inches of snow in total and hazardous driving conditions.
Residents are urged to only travel in an emergency.
