YAAAS Tea expands to Patchogue, plans for a June opening on South Ocean

|

YAAAS Tea, the popular boba tea chain, is expanding once again with its newest location set to open in Patchogue this summer. The new location will be situated at 38 S. Ocean Ave., taking over the former spot of Cloud Nine Ice Cream & Cereal Bar.

Founded by Kelly Zhou, YAAAS Tea has quickly become a favorite destination for Long Islanders seeking delicious and authentic Asian-inspired treats. With a focus on bridging cultures and delivering the most delicious drinks and desserts, YAAAS Tea has already opened three locations across Long Island in Farmingdale, Huntington, and Hauppauge.

Zhou told Greater Long Island she plans to open her newest location in Patchogue this June.

According to Zhou, the new location will feature some of the same popular flavors that have made YAAAS Tea a hit with customers, including Brown Sugar Boba, classic milk teas, fresh teas, and creme brûlée-style drinks. In addition, the new location will offer a range of toppings, such as different flavor bobas, lychees, and jellies, that customers can mix and match to create their perfect drink.

Zhou’s passion for the boba tea business comes from her upbringing in China, where she spent many childhood moments sitting together with family and friends, enjoying the tea and desserts her grandmother made. Now, she is on a mission to share her favorite childhood treats with people across Long Island, and the new Patchogue location is just the latest step in her expansion plans.

In addition to its upcoming Patchogue location, YAAAS Tea has another expansion in the works with a new location set to open in Great Neck. The company has not yet publicly announced where that location will be.
