A dozen Bayport-Blue Point High School seniors were recognized by the district last week for their commitment to carrying on their athletic careers at the college level.
One of those seniors, track star Brigitte Strobl (photo below), will be competing in the Patriot League for Loyola University Maryland in track & field.
Strobl was named the 2014 New York State champion in the 4×400 meters relay and an all-county and all-league athlete since 2014.
The below 11 students are all each bound for Division III schools in the fall:
