Legendary musician, singer, and songwriter Timothy B. Schmit will be performing at the YMCA/Boulton Center for the Performing Arts in Bay Shore on April 27.
Schmit is perhaps best known for his time with Poco and the Eagles, though he had a prolific solo career and performed with such acts as Crosby, Stills & Nash and Jimmy Buffett’s Coral Reefer band. (In fact, it was Schmit who coined the term Parrotheads for Buffet’s die-hard fans.)
He’ll be performing songs that span his four-decade career.
“The Y Boulton Center is thrilled to announce a performance from legendary Eagle and Poco member Timothy B. Schmit,” said Boulton Center director Michele Rizzo. “This will truly be an incredible evening for those who will be in attendance.”
