Update: Gagliano, Mackin win trustee seats in Bellport Village

Update: Bellport Village’s election results are in, and Joseph Gagliano and Steve Mackin are the incoming Village Board members.

The results:

Gagliano: 407 votes (elected)

Mackin: 381 votes (elected)

S. David Smith: 358

Village Justice: Howard Meyers (unopposed): 358

Original post: Bellport villagers are heading to the polls Tuesday, May 21, to choose two trustees from among three running in an at-large election.

(At-large means the top two vote-getters are the winners in the three-way race.)

There is also a village justice candidate running unopposed.

Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the Bellport Community Center at 4 Bell Street.
