The Great South Bay YMCA of Bay Shore hosted a Children’s Fashion Show Thursday night at the Bellport Country Club.
The event attracted parents, grandparents, teachers and volunteers, all under the spirited guidance of Cindy Becker, the Y’s child care director.
Fashions were donated by local businesses, and all child models are participants or graduates of the Y pre-school programs. Over 50 prizes, donated by families, classes and local businesses, were raffled off at the event. All proceeds will support the YMCA Pre-School, specifically for children’s scholarships, science programs and smart technology.
