Bellport Village swelled with trick-or-treaters Saturday for its eighth annual Halloween Parade down Main Street.
To kick things off, Halloween revelers were treated to a Star Wars-themed show outside MVP Automotive headlined by Bellport High School dancers dressed like Storm Troopers and marked by some Fireworks by Grucci explosives.

Attendees also learned the winners of the October scarecrow contest in the village, which saw the most entries ever with 46 scarecrows, according to the organizers: Bellport Village, Bellport Village Program Fund and the Bellport Chamber of Commerce.
Keshavi Shah, 8, took top honors for her scarecrow in front of Bellport Stationary.
