High winds and below freezing temperatures didn’t deter one of Long Island’s larger St. Patrick’s Day parades from marching through downtown Bay Shore Saturday.
The parade, run by St. Patrick’s Parade Greater Bay Shore, Inc., stepped off at 2 p.m. at Saxon Avenue and ended at St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church to the west.
