20 Photos: The Annual Fair at Argyle Park draws in thousands

|

It was a spectacular day for the Annual Fair at Argyle Park.

Thousands of people gathered in at 244 West Main Street in Babylon Village Sunday for one of the largest arts and crafts fairs on Long Island.

From 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., attendees shopped around the over 300 vendors stationed around the majority of Argyle Lake.

Some of the arts and crafts on display included home decor, clothing, paintings, photography, jewelry, candles, soaps, metal and woodwork, and much more.

The fair’s Specialty Food Market section featured baked goods, cheeses, hot sauce, honey, jams, preserves, nuts, and bars.

In addition to the craft and specialty food vendors, there was a variety of wine, beer, food trucks, and live entertainment around the Babylon Village Gazebo.

The Babylon Beautification Society ran a table piled high with used books, CDs, and DVDs that were sold for just a dollar.

Some of the kid-friendly activities included face painting, sand art and bouncy houses.
