This spring’s Grilled Cheese and Craft Beer Pairing at AJ’s during L.I. Craft Beer Week was such a smashing success, AJ’s and the crew are at it again.

On Tuesday, July 25, from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m, AJ’s Gourmet Grilled Cheese at 182 West Main Street in Bay Shore will be hosting its second beer and food pairing event — this time with Blue Point Brewery.

But don’t expect the Blue Point standards of Toasted Lager and Hoptical Illusion. They’re getting adventurous over at AJ’s.

PAIRING MENU:

Option 1: Blue Point’s “Macho Muchacho” beer will be paired up with our Crispy Jalapeno grilled cheese: $10.50 (run, don’t walk)
Option 2: “Beach Plum” beer will be paired up with our Apple and Bacon grilled cheese: $12.50

The above options will also come with chips and a pickle.

“And Blue Point will have a booth set up and are offering free tastings of some of their more unique beers,” added AJ’s owner and founder, Anthony Leis.

Leis also assures all those not looking to order beer pairing options that AJ’s will remain open for regular business throughout the five-hour event.
