Photos: Another Homecoming Day fit for a king and queen in Islip

|

Saturday was a day of celebration in Islip as students, their families and the Purple and Gold faithful lined the streets for the Homecoming Parade.

Superheroes was the theme of this year’s floats, all designed by Islip High School.

Although the Buccaneers lost 14-0 to Hauppauge, they’ll have a day sooner to make up for it, as they’re next playing a 6 p.m. Friday night game against a winless Kings Park team.
