The sun was shining, the streets were crowded, and there was plenty of food at Port Jefferson’s first-ever breakfast crawl on Saturday.
From 9 a.m. to noon, breakfast-lovers had the opportunity to eat at up to 15 participating locations to try different spins of breakfast.
The event was run by the Greater Port Jefferson Chamber of Commerce in collaboration with the fledgling Pro-Port Restaurant Group, which brought the idea to the chamber after successful breakfast crawls in Patchogue.
A percentage of proceeds will be donated to the Welcome Friends Soup Kitchen of Port Jefferson.
