Daisy’s Nashville Lounge, the new Miller Place hotspot that has brought Southern charm and live country music to the North Shore, is holding its grand opening this weekend.
After a soft opening earlier this month, the celebration kicks off with two nights of live performances. Matt Misser & The Highway take the stage on Friday at 7 p.m., followed by Slingshot Jams on Saturday at 7 p.m.
Located at 1025 Route 25A in North Country Plaza, Daisy’s is the second location for owners Brian Adams and Tim McCarthy, who first introduced their honky-tonk concept to Patchogue in 2019.
The Miller Place location is nearly three times the size of the original, offering a larger stage for live music, a huge rectangular bar a DJ booth wrapped in cowhide, and seating for 180 guests.
“We’re excited to bring this Southern experience to the North Shore, with bigger bands and a great community,” McCarthy said.
The bar and kitchen serve up a Down South-inspired menu featuring favorites like the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich, Carolina Gold smoked pulled pork, and Blackened Faroe Islands Salmon.
Diners can also enjoy classic Southern dishes like Jambalaya Pasta and Down South Fried Chicken & Waffle. The walls are adorned with murals and portraits of country legends, including Dolly Parton and Johnny Cash, adding to the authentic Nashville vibe.
The space is designed to bring a taste of the South to Long Island, with rustic wood reclaimed from an abandoned barn in upstate New York giving the venue a warm, inviting atmosphere.
