Daisy’s Nashville Lounge has officially saddled up on the North Shore.
Four years after bringing Southern charm and live country music to downtown Patchogue on the South Shore, Daisy’s owners Brian Adams and Tim McCarthy have opened a second bar/restaurant — in Miller Place.
And it’s nearly three times the size of its Patchogue predecessor, which is still thriving.
Miller Place’s Daisy’s Nashville Lounge debuted this week with a soft opening in North Country Plaza. The honky-tonk establishment moved into the space formerly occupied by Recipe Seven, which shuttered in 2023 after a seven-year run in the shopping center that features Don Quijote Mexican restaurant and is next door to a plaza anchored by Marshall’s department store.
“We’re very excited to be in this neighborhood. This is a great community, filled with great people and great restaurants that we want to complement,” McCarthy said.

The restaurant’s generous amount of space allows for 180 seats; a spacious, centrally located bar; a raised stage for bands and a DJ booth wrapped in cowhide. The walls are decorated with photos, paintings and murals featuring the likes of country music icons Willie Nelson, Loretta Lynn, Kid Rock, Dolly Parton and Johnny Cash.
The large framed images of Parton and Cash on the back wall are uniquely composed entirely of guitar picks, adding a distinctive touch to the décor. Complementing this are the weathered wood panels above the bar and scattered across the restaurant’s walls, reclaimed from an abandoned barn in New Berlin, upstate.
McCarthy and Adams are elated that the space will accommodate bigger bands and performers.
“We’ll have a lot of local bands playing on a big stage that we’ve built,” McCarthy said. “And we’ll also have bands in from Nashville, South Carolina and Boston.”
The bar and kitchen at Daisy’s offer Down South-inspired cocktail and food menus.
Diners have plenty of “Between the Buns” options, including the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich, the Steak PoBoy and The Carolina Gold smoked pulled pork sandwich. The large plate selection features Jambalaya Pasta, Blackened Faroe Islands Salmon, Down South Fried Chicken & Waffle, and Prime Cowboy Ribeye Steak.
Mosey on in now
