A Syosset teen who showed up uninvited to a West Babylon house party last fall admitted Thursday in court that he stabbed a 15-year-old boy to death after being told to leave, prosecutors said.

Aiden Zachary, now 18, pleaded guilty Thursday to first-degree manslaughter in the death of Liam Delemo (pictured above).

“This young defendant chose to escalate a dispute with a deadly weapon, resulting in the tragic death of a 15-year-old boy,” Suffolk County District Attorney Raymond Tierney said. “Two families are now forever changed by this senseless act of violence.”

Zachary was 17 when he arrived at a packed house party in West Babylon about 10 p.m. on Nov. 4, 2025, according to court documents and his own admissions during his plea allocution, Tierney said.

Zachary was not invited to the party. He was asked to leave and got into an altercation with Delemo, prosecutors said.

Moments later, Zachary pulled out a knife and stabbed Delemo in the abdomen and arm, then immediately fled, Tierney said. Delemo was rushed to Good Samaritan University Hospital in West Islip, where he was pronounced dead.

Cops arrested Zachary six days later. He is due back in court for sentencing on Nov. 4 — one year to the day after the stabbing.
