People of all ages gathered to enjoy a day of ice skating, eating s’mores, and drinking hot chocolate at Babylon Village’s first-ever Winterfest at Argyle Park on Sunday.
As previously reported, the event was hosted by the co-sponsored by the Village of Babylon, the Babylon Beautification Society, the Babylon Village Chamber of Commerce, and Babylon Public Library.
Festival-goers glided across the 24×60 ice skating rink with their family and friends, then fueled up on some mac and cheese, hot cocoa, and s’mores, provided by the Babylon Beautification Society. The Argyle Falls Restoration Committee collected donations for the park’s revitalization of its falls.
Other activities included cornhole and a jumbo connect-four. The library also set up some games with prizes for the children attending the event.
