Tap Room

WHERE: NASSAU & SUFFOLK
Tap Room offers one stop-shopping for private events, whether you live in Nassau or Suffolk, and whether you’re entertaining 25 or 250 people. Each of Tap Room’s nine locations offers private event spaces of varying sizes and vibes, with some upstairs, other downstairs. They also have a dedicated catering team ready to assist you. The photos above highlight the more unique spots in the Tap Room portfolio. Farmingdale, for instance, features an upstairs lounge and bar, as well as a speakeasy for small intimate gatherings. Then there’s the Rockville Centre location’s second floor, The Loft, which can easily accommodate several hundred people and is complete with an HD projector and a stage for live entertainment.
The other Tap Room catering spots are in Patchogue, Bay Shore, Massapequa Park, Jericho, Huntington, Garden City and Ronkonkoma.

VIP Room

WHERE: PATCHOGUE VILLAGE
Silver Lining Restaurant group unveiled the brand-new VIP Room on Main Street in Patchogue this past spring. The huge space is impeccably designed to elevate any special affair and only caters to one private party at a time.
It’s lined with mirrors, brass vintage chandeliers, high ceilings and a massive bar. There’s two huge bathrooms in the back, and a bridal suite, which is perfect for micro-wedding brides and grooms.
The food is all prepared on premises in a shared kitchen, with silver, gold and platinum packages available for parties. Platinum packages might include seafood towers, steaks and more higher-end fare.
The space is also fully plugin ready for A/V, including DJ lighting, as well as a 120-inch screen projector and two televisions. DJ’s and live music are not only allowed, but encouraged.

Thai Station Café

WHERE: BABYLON

Toast Coffee + Kitchen absolutely wants to host your next big event.
Whether that’s in Patchogue, Long Beach, Bay Shore or Port Jeff Station, you’ll leave with the prettiest photos for Instagram to mark the occasion.
Each Toast location boasts an entirely different decor, feel and experience. Go with the Prohibition Era in Long Beach, Steampunk Era in Patchogue, Coney Island in Bay Shore or that farmhouse vibe for showers in Port Jefferson.
Here’s what else: All Toast Coffee + Kitchen locations close at 3 p.m. So if you’re not throwing a midday party, you’ll have plenty of space for your friends and family for a late afternoon or evening event.
Between all four locations, you’ll also have a whopping 10 rooms to choose from, accommodating anywhere from 22 to 100 guests. (Note: Bay Shore cannot host daytime events.) And this is Toast, after all, so there’s plenty of breakfast and brunch items to pick from the catering menus.

The Wharf

WHERE: OAKDALE
The revamped Wharf in Oakdale, on the Connetquot River, has quickly emerged as a big player in the South Shore catering game, especially for waterfront weddings.
“This is not a set, structured catering venue,” said Lauren Salamone of operators Lily Flanagan’s Restaurant Group, which oversaw the property’s overhaul and provides all the food. “It could be a rustic affair, or more formal. We can make it as fancy or as casual as a couple needs.”
Features include, among others, three sprawling paved patios, an outdoor bar, several fireplaces and two party tents with spaces for hundreds of guests to eat, drink and dance.
All with the backdrop of the river boat dock and Fire Island. The Wharf can provide guests with music, flowers, desserts and more for complete wedding and event packages. Catered events at The Wharf can be as small as 40 guests, or as big as 250.
