Update: The French bulldog in the below report was later located in Shirley and reunited with its owner, according to several published reports.

For the second time in four days, a French bulldog has been swiped during a residential burglary on Long Island, according to Suffolk police.

This time it happened in Bay Shore, police said, where sometime between Saturday, Nov. 27, at 8 p.m., and Sunday, Nov. 28, at 7 a.m., clothing, cash and a 3-month-old French bulldog puppy named Zushi went missing from a Farrington Avenue home.

No additional information was provided by police, and no indication was given that the two incidents were or were not related.

This follows the Thanksgiving burglary on Robin Lane in Huntington, where between 4 p.m. and 11 p.m. on Nov. 26, a French Bulldog and a Sony PlayStation 5 were swiped.

The 4-year-old French bulldog, Stella, was later found in Center Moriches, according to the New York Post.

No arrests have been reported in either case.
