It rained again, but it didn’t stop this parade.
The 17th annual Chamber of Commerce of the Moriches St. Patrick’s Day parade, which was rescheduled from March 10 due to rain, drew hundreds of people to downtown Center Moriches. It included its fair share of sprinkles and lots of smiles and cheers for grand marshal Arthur Gerhauser, parade “Irish Princess” Megan McLaughlin, pipe bands, fire departments and other displays.
