More than 230 Sayville High School seniors took part in the school’s annual Senior Breakfast, traditionally scheduled on the last day of classes before Thanksgiving break.
This year’s celebration resumed the “more normal’ setting that for over three decades has given participating seniors an opportunity to bond as a class, the school district reported. The Class of 2022 members were not restricted by the same pandemic distance protocols that were in effect for last year’s Senior Breakfast.
The school district’s food and nutrition department prepared a buffet-style breakfast that included eggs, potatoes, rolls, waffles, fruit and all the trimming, along with juice and coffee.
