Bay Shore’s restaurants and retailers are inviting the public downtown for an afternoon of holiday shopping, dining and maybe winning on Sunday, Dec. 17.
It’s the first-ever Jingle Bells by the Bay.
The day will feature product discounts and holiday-themed specialty plates and drinks — and culminates in the announcement of the 30 Days of Eating in Bay Shore raffle winner.

That winner will receive $50 discounts to over 30 local eateries.
“We’ll also have Christmas carolers. And next year we’d like to expand this into more of a full-blown holiday festival,” said Mike McElwee of Bay Shore’s restaurant committee, which is running the day’s events.
Jingle Bells by the Bay starts at noon and runs to 5 p.m.
The 30 Days of Eating in Bay Shore winner will be chosen at 3:30 p.m. at Drew Patrick Spa at 128 West Main Street. Tickets are still available for $20 each at nearly all of the downtown area and waterfront restaurants.
Changing Times Pub is also running their own raffle contests at the restaurant. The Penny Pub will be playing A Christmas Story all day. There’s also an Ugly Sweater Sing-Along party at T.J. Finley’s with Bobby Digital, and more for visitors to Main Street.
