Note: Saturday’s Haunted Halloween Festival in Bay Shore and the Fall Festival in Islip are both cancelled due to weather.

So far we’ve counted 10 Halloween and fall-themed events or activities on our packed community calendar, which we detail below.

FRIDAY, OCT. 21

They’re painting pumpkin wine glasses at Pinot’s Palette in Bay Shore from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.

SATURDAY, OCT. 22 

We have removed two event descriptions due to cancellations; it hurt too much to read.

For night owls, the 7th Annual Bats & Brews runs from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. at Seatuck in Islip, for those looking to complete the trifecta of Halloween happenings all in one day.

Billed as Long Island’s homegrown craft beer event! There will be 50 beers from 20 Long Island brewers, as well as food by Evergreen Island Caterers and music by The Decoys.

THURSDAY, OCT. 27-28

Black light painting nights at Pinot’s Palette in Bay Shore. Paint a witch with a glowing presence.

SATURDAY, OCT. 29

We’ve got five Halloween-themed events on the calendar, starting with a Halloween Picture Party at Lasting Impressions Studio in Bay Shore at 10 a.m., two Hallowen parties and paint night and costume party at Pinot’s.

Saturday’s headliner is a Magic Illusionist Show & Dinner at the American Legion Rusy Bohm Post 411 in Islip. The show runs from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Call 631-277-8383 for tickets

SUNDAY, OCT. 30

As previously reported, members of the East Islip Community Chamber of Commerce will be hosting their big annual Halloween family fundraiser at Shandon Court

“The event raises money for a better community, for everybody who lives or works here,” Ryan Gillies, a chamber member and insurance salesman with the James F. Sutton Agency, had previously told greaterbayshore.com.

“We’ll have face painting, kid’s games, a photo booth, mummy making,” and more, he said.
