311 will be heading back to the bay in Patchogue on July 14 for the 11th annual Great South Bay Music Festival.

Other known acts like The Wailers and Taking Back Sunday have also been added the show’s lineup.

Tickets will be available through the Great South Bay Music Festival website on March 2, with a discounted pre-sale starting Tuesday, Feb. 28, at 8 a.m.

311 last performed in Patchogue in 2015, a festival that drew about 20,000 people to Shorefront Park, up from about 14,000 the year before.

In an interview last year, festival organizer Jim Faith said the high-energy ska band 311 attracted a great crowd in 2015 — with no issues.

“311 really stirred everybody up,” he said. “But when they were done everybody just walked out, tired from jumping around. So we’d definitely like to get them back one day.”

That day is Friday, July 14. The festival runs from July 13-16. Other acts will be added.
