Bakery style café ‘Artisan Kaiser’ heading to New Village at Patchogue

|

A bakery style café called Artisan Kaiser is coming to The Shoppes at New Village in Patchogue.

“Artisan Kaiser specializes in small batch, hand-crafted kaiser rolls. The rolls are available in a variety of flavors. In addition to rolls, a limited sandwich menu will be available for breakfast, lunch and an early dinner crowd,” reads an announcement from New Village and its developer, TRITEC Real Estate Company, Inc.

Artisan Kaiser, a local baker, has signed a lease for over 2,100 square feet of space on the Village Green, at 16 Havens Avenue, within the heart of the $110 million, 291-residential unit complex.

“A full line of bakery bread will be available to wholesale clients,” according to the announcement. “Additional products at Artisan Kaiser will include pasta bowls, soups, salads, pastries and barista-style beverages. All of Artisan Kaiser’s offerings will be made with premium natural organic and when possible local ingredients. Approximately 90% of menu items will be made in-house.”

TRITEC’s chief operating officer, Rob Loscalzo, said Artisan Kaiser “will be a great addition to the tenant mix.”

“I’m really excited to have them there.”

Artisan Kaiser is expected to take occupancy in late spring 2017.

Schuckman Realty represented New Village and TRITEC in the transaction.

Loscalzo said 70 percent of New Village’s 46,100 square feet of retail and restaurant space is now spoken for.

“We have a lot more stores coming,” he said. “We only have a few spaces left and have gotten a lot of bites on the remaining units.”

“We’ve been kind of choosey as to who we want,” he continued, “We want to make sure they’re set up for success. We work a lot with [the businesses owners] to make sure they have their business plans in place, and when they’re open they’re ready.”
