It’s true that ever since The Old Olive TreeĀ on East Main Street closed in the fall of 2014, Patchogeans have been wandering the streets like soulless zombies in search of gyros. We feel your pain. So we hope this list of places to grab a gyro from across Greater Patchogue helps.
Swan Deli

The gyros are brand-new to the menu items at the Swan Deli at 15 South Country Road, which has long offered great sandwiches and, a bit more recently, pizza. There’s even rotisserie chicken at Swan. Swan changed ownership last year, with positive responses.Ā If you’re about to take a ride, you’ll want to know ahead of time you’ll have a choice of lamb, beef or chicken gyros at swan. They went all-in.
