The Village Idiot Irish Pub in Oakdale has scrapped its weekend breakfast menu in favor of brunch — which always seems to be trending in these parts.
“We’ve decided to revamp the menu and came out with some great brunch items, as well as bottomless mimosas or Bloody Marys for $15 with any brunch item,” Nicole Ferretti, the VIIP’s GM told GreaterBayShore.
There’s four mimosa options and three Bloody Mary options on the menu.
New brunch items include Short Rib Sliders, Chicken and Waffles and the Breakfast Mac ‘N Cheese, which consists of scrambled eggs, ham and cheddar.
Of course, everything is done with an Idiot-twist.
“The fried chicken is topped with Sriracha maple syrup, which gives it some spice,” Ferretti said.
“Our first day was a Saturday (earlier this month). It was awesome.”
Brunch at the Village Idiot Irish Pub, which is located at 1487 Montauk Highway in Oakdale, runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.
