The New York Lottery announced that one of two third-prize-winning tickets sold in New York for the Nov. 30 Powerball drawing was purchased on Long Island.
The ticket, worth $50,000, was purchased at the 7-Eleven located at 497 Stewart Ave, in Bethpage. Third-prize winners match four of the five winning numbers, along with the Powerball number.
The winning numbers drawn were 4, 24, 29, 39 and 63; the red Power Ball number taken was 25. The other third-prize-winning ticket in New York was sold in Whitney Point.
The winning numbers for Powerball are drawn from a field of one to 69. The red Power Ball is drawn from a separate field of one to 26. The Powerball drawing is televised every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 10:59 p.m.
