The singles bar crawl returns to Patchogue; tickets now available

|

Patchogue’s singles bar crawl will be returning to Main Street this Valentine’s Day night.

This is the third annual “Looking for Love in All the Right Places” event. Tickets are $20 each and can be purchased by clicking here.

Attendees all receive drink specials at all the participating restaurants during the allotted times.

All attendees get some goodies to kick the night off.

“What is great about this crawl is it’s easier to approach people when they’re wearing the identifying leis. You know they are there to meet people so it takes away that awkwardness, that fear of rejection,” said Tiffany Rivera, a chamber VP and one of the lead crawl organizers.

The night gets started at Fulton’s Gate Irish Pub and proceeds west along Main Street, culminating with the Singles Ball at That Meetball Place, which will have a DJ playing all night.

The chamber’s involvement stemmed from wanting to help the more casual bar-restaurants an otherwise slower holiday, Rivera explained.

“It’s not really a burger and beer type of night for couples, so this fills these venues. And it gives people who are not in relationships something fun to do with their friends,” she said.

Typically about 100 people attend, though the crowd grows as the night goes.

“I’ve watched relationships bud on this night,” Rivera said.
