It’s going to be an entertaining Saturday night of rock and roll — fueled by top drummers at Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts.

There, starting at 8 p.m., attendees will be treated to the music of Mountain and Cream by none other than Mountain’s original drummer and the writer of smash hit “Mississippi Queen,” Corky Laing, and the son of Cream’s legendary founder, Peter Edward “Ginger” Baker.

Ginger Baker’s son’s name is Kofi, and he and Laing will be lighting up the room, Laing tells us.

“The way Kofi does Cream is really a special thing,” he said. “Remember, you have Ginger’s DNA in there. This is class rock featuring one of the best drummer’s ever in Kofi.

“He will be doing Cream and I’ll be doing Mountain the way it was all recorded back in the early 1970s — with some of the best musicians I’ve ever worked with who will be coming in from Toledo.”

The show is called The Ultimate Classic Rock Experience. Click here for tickets starting at $25.

“Plus we’ll have some special surprises,” Laing added.

We’ve done a couple of these shows and they’re really a lot of fun.”
