Volunteers with the Babylon Beautification Society fanned out into the village Sunday morning to welcome Christmastime with the annual lamppost decorating day.
Well over 1,000 people decorated over 500 posts in Babylon with pine garland, lights, and red bows. Each family brought their own ladder and supplies were provided by the Beautification Society.
