Police look for man whose passenger died from drugs in West Islip

Suffolk Police are looking to speak to a man who dropped someone off at Good Samaritan Hospital last month who later died of a drug overdose.

The unknown man, who was wearing an Islanders hat and Giants sweatshirt at the time, pulled up to the emergency room in West Islip in a brown Nissan Altima at 10:05 p.m. on Dec. 23.

He alerted staff the other man was in need of medical assistance. The staff removed the passenger. The unknown man drove off. The passenger died a short time later.
