Thousands of people headed to downtown Islip Sunday for the hamlet’s 2oth annual Summer Street Festival, which stretches from Town Hall to Islip Cinemas.
The Islip Chamber of Commerce organized the entire event, booking the craft and food vendors, live music, carnival games, children’s activities and more, even lining up an interactive butterfly experience.
