Tanger Outlet Center donates $35K to Babylon Breast Cancer Coalition

|

This holiday season, the Tanger Outlet Center of Deer Park presented the Babylon Breast Cancer Coalition with a huge check that amounted to over $35,000.

That money was raised during Tanger’s month-long Tanger PINK Campaign. The annual initiative, now in its 24th year, happens at Tanger malls across the U.S.

“We are proud to join forces with our valued shoppers and retailers across the U.S. and Canada to raise awareness and much-needed funds for breast cancer research and prevention,” said Steven Tanger, President and CEO of  Tanger Factory Outlet Centers, Inc.

“We empathize with every customer, retailer, and employee who has been affected by this disease. We are fully committed to supporting these important organizations, with the goal of finding a cure to a disease that has affected so many families,” he said.

Since 1994, Tanger has contributed more than $17 million to breast cancer research through the PINK Campaign, which includes 5K races, on-site events and other breast cancer awareness-related activities and fundraisers, according to the company.

The exact check total for the Babylon Breast Cancer Coalition was $35,381.09.

The donation was made at the annual tree lighting festival on Nov. 18.
