A 98-year-old man has died after being struck by a vehicle in Roosevelt seven days ago, Nassau County Police Homicide Squad detectives said Monday.
Nathaniel Adams of Roosevelt was crossing Nassau Road near West Fulton Avenue about 9:15 p.m. when he was hit by a 2005 Chrysler driven by a 25-year-old man.
Adams was taken to a nearby hospital, where he had remained in critical condition.
The driver stayed at the scene of the accident, said police, who are continuing to investigate the incident.
