Over 25,000 pounds of ice was craved up at the first annual Port Jefferson Ice Festival on Saturday.
The event, which also runs on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., features ice carving demonstrations, marshmallow roasting, horse-drawn carriage rides throughout the downtown, as well as ice skating at the Village Center.
The ice carvings were created by Long Island’s Rich Daly, a renowned sculptor and Guinness Book of World Record holder.
There was also a mac and cheese crawl on Saturday as well.
Below are photos from Day One of the ice fest.
