Port Jefferson brings a ‘Touch of Holiday Cheer’ to the village

|

Port Jefferson held the first weekend of its “A Touch of Holiday Cheer” event in the village.

From 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, visitors enjoyed holiday festivities like meeting Santa, horse and carriage rides, and cookie decorating in the Port Jefferson Village Center.

This event is replacing the Charles Dickens Festival, which had to be canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic.

“A Touch of Holiday Cheer” will return on Dec. 19.

Below are photos of the cookie-decorating, one of the activities available to event participants.
