North Shore burger lovers rejoice!
The rapidly expanding, family owned and operated chain Burgerology will be opening within weeks.
Principal owner Eddie Galatoulas and his daughter, Maria, say there is no exact opening date yet, but they’re looking to open at 2302B Nesconset Highway at the end of February or early March.
The Stony Brook Burgerology will be the family’s biggest location to date, Eddie Galatoulas said.
The family signed its lease for the vacant Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza back in November.
Customers who visit Stony Brook’s Burgerology location can expect to find the chain’s specialty, made-to-order burgers, craft beer, cocktails, as well as those extravagant, Instagram-worthy milkshakes.
People can build their own burgers, but also enjoy vegan and vegetarian options, and a slew of other menu items.
There are currently four Burgerology locations operating on the island, in Astoria, Rockville Centre, Huntington, and Patchogue.
Like Burgerology in Patchogue, the new Stony Brook location will offer outdoor seating as well.
While looking for the next place to open, Galatoulas said the family received many requests to bring Burgerology to the Three Villages area.
“We’re excited to be there,” he said. “We’re a family-based restaurant … it should be great.”
