Popular LI wings franchise expands to South Setauket

|

There’s a new L.I. Wings-n-Things location in Suffolk County.

The wings franchise opened its third restaurant last month at 270 Pond Path in South Setauket.

The new location, which shares the same shopping center as Stop & Shop and Chili’s, is “a perfect spot,” says manager Vincent Ciaravino.

“The hospital, the college, the mall, and just the surrounding community there a lot of homes and a good population,” he said. “I thought it would be a very good lunch and dinner crowd.”

L.I. Wings-n-Things in South Setauket has an open-ceiling concept, which makes space seem bigger in comparison to the other locations, says the manager.

“Once [Stony Brook University] becomes full capacity and all the kids are back on campus, we would like to do more catering for the college and hospital,” he said.

The franchise has two other locations in Islandia and Farmingville.

Their menu consists of a variety of wings and flavors, as well as chicken tenders, sandwiches, wraps, empanadas, pierogies, and more.

L.I. Wings-n-Things is open seven days a week, Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Friday and Saturday 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., and Sundays 12 p.m. to 9 p.m.
