Actor, comedian and proud Long Islander Kevin James is getting set to represent Bay Shore in the next episode of his hit new show “Kevin Can Wait” on CBS.
He’ll be doing so by sporting a T-shirt emblazoned with the logo of Local Burger Co. on East Main Street.
And the crew in Bay Shore is looking to make a big deal out of it. They’re planning a viewing party for Monday at Local Burger, said co-owner Mike McElwee.
The show starts at 8 p.m. on CBS. (Scroll down for more.)

McElwee was made aware the shirt would be making an appearance after last week’s show aired.
James, a Ward Melville High graduate from Stony Brook, is shown wearing the Local Burger shirt in the previews for the March 26 episode (screen shot above).
“Somebody noticed and texted Alyssa (another co-owner), who then texted it to me,” McElwee said. “We sent those shirts to the show over two years ago, when they reached out looking for local products … but we forgot all about them.
“So now we’re looking to have some fun with it.”
That fun also involves concocting a special burger just for the viewing party. It’s going to be called the Monkey Fist Burger, an homage to James’ security company on the show.
“Kevin Can Wait” takes place in Massapequa, where James (Kevin Gable) has started a security business after retiring from the Nassau County Police Department.
It was impossible to tell from the preview if Local Burger itself will be referenced Monday night.
