‘The Pizzeria’ now open in the old Pizza Parm spot in Islip

|

Islip’s Main Street has a new slice shop to call its own.

The owners of The Pizzeria launched their latest location in the old Pizza Parm location at 591 Main St. this week.

Founded by Long Island brothers Paul Saccoccio and Dan Saccoccio with close friend Cliff Weinstein, the group opened their first location in the Smith Haven Mall in October 2020 and its Bayport location at 606 Montauk Highway in December 2020.

David and Jacob Zwaik of Bayport’s DJT Development are also now part of the ownership team, as well as Carlos Delgado, an owner of Noble Savage Barbershop in Bay Shore.

The fast-growing company also has a Bay Shore location in the works. It’s coming to the first floor of Eleven Maple, a 90-unit apartment complex being developed by Greenview Properties on the corner of Maple Avenue and Gibson Street.

GreaterBayShore swung by The Pizzeria Islip this week for its soft opening. The pizza shop is now open full-time starting today.
