Crime Stoppers: Police investigate Jan. 20 burglary of Oak Beach home

Police are on the hunt for burglars caught on cameras ransacking an Oak Beach home earlier this month.

And they’re offering a cash reward to anyone who helps in finding them.

According to police, two men broke into a home on Oak Beach Road while a third man acted as a lookout. The burglary happened around 4:20 a.m. on Jan. 20.

The men stole over $13,000 in cash, jewelry, silverware, power tools, fishing gear, an iPhone, machinery and electronics, police said.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.

Anyone with such information should contact Suffolk County Crime Stoppers to submit an anonymous tip by calling 1-800-220-TIPS, texting “SCPD” and your message to “CRIMES” (274637) or by email at www.tipsubmit.com.
