‘Hawk Tuah Girl’ set to spit fire at Long Island club bashes July 13-14

In news that may make you want to clear your throat, social media darling Haliey Welch — aka “Hawk Tuah Girl” — is coming to Long Island July 13 and 14 to host two weekend parties.

Welch will lead a Saturday night party at Bull Smith’s Tavern in Smithtown on July 13, and then a Sunday funday party at the Ugly Duckling in Long Beach.

The 21-year-old Nashville woman has become exceedingly popular since sharing on video her thoughts on what guys desire most in the sack. “Hawk tuah” is an onomatopoeia for the sounds Welch made in her Southern drawl to simulate a sex act in an interview with Tim & Dee TV for their YouTube channel.

“You gotta give ’em that ‘hawk tuah’ and spit on that thang!” she said in a clip that has been viewed millions of times since it was posted late last month. Countless reaction videos and a massive merchandising push have firmly planted the phrase “Hawk Tuah” into the public consciousness.

“We’re taking Sunday Funday to a whole new level!” reads an Ugly Duckling post on Instagram, promoting the event. “Come down to The Ugly Duckling on Sunday, July 14th at 4 pm for a special event hosted by @hay_welch, well known as the Hawk Tua Girl!”

Welch’s instant fame led to an on-stage appearance at a Zach Bryan concert over the weekend and a clear-the-air interview with Barstool Sports on Monday.

The party at Bull Smith’s Tavern gets going at 10 p.m. on Saturday, July 13. The Ugly Duckling party featuring Welch kicks off at 4 p.m. on Sunday, July 14, and goes until midnight.
