Police searching for Central Islip teen missing since July 5

Authorities are seeking the public’s help in finding a Central Islip teen who was reported missing a week ago.

Evelyn Pena-Castro was last seen at her home on Brightside Avenue about 4:30 p.m. on Friday, July 5, police said, adding that “She left on her own accord.”

The last time Evelyn was seen, she was wearing a green t-shirt, with jeans and white sneakers, according to a page devoted to her by New York state’s Missing Persons Clearinghouse at missingkids.org.

Anyone with information regarding Evelyn’s disappearance or her whereabouts is asked to call 800.346.3543.
