Zara is officially headed to central Suffolk County.
The global fashion retailer known for its on-trend styles for men, women and kids will be opening a new location at Smith Haven Mall in Lake Grove during the first half of 2026, a company spokesperson confirmed.
This will mark Zara’s third store on Long Island, joining existing locations at Walt Whitman Shops in Huntington Station and Roosevelt Field Mall in Garden City.
Founded in Spain in 1985, Zara has grown into one of the world’s largest clothing brands, operating more than 2,000 stores worldwide.
The Smith Haven Mall location will take over multiple former storefronts in the center of the mall.
The addition comes as Simon Property Group, which owns and operates Smith Haven Mall, continues a multi-million-dollar redevelopment of the property — including major upgrades to both the interior and exterior.
