Ben & Jerry’s is coming to Ronkonkoma’s Station Yards

|

Ben & Jerry’s is opening a new scoop shop at Ronkonkoma’s Station Yards complex, right across from the LIRR station.

The ice cream giant joins an already stacked lineup of restaurants and bars at the development, including Vespa, Tap Room, Toast Coffee + Kitchen, Great South Bay Brewery, Lucharitos, and Artemis.

The Ronkonkoma location will be operated by Abhishek and Nisha Sachdeva, the husband-and-wife team who opened a Ben & Jerry’s in Patchogue last year. Other Long Island outposts, not owned by the Sachdeva family, are located in Riverhead and Westhampton Beach.

Set to open soon at 3 Hawkins Ave., Unit #1104, the Ronkonkoma shop will span about 1,500 square feet, right next door to Vespa, Greater Long Island has learned.

Founded in 1978 by Long Island childhood friends Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield in Burlington, Vt., Ben & Jerry’s has grown into a global brand known for its inventive flavors like Cherry Garcia, Phish Food, and Half Baked, as well as its commitment to social responsibility.
